Alabaster Chandelier Lighting
Alabaster chandeliers are usually made with solid brass frames. Alabaster is a translucent stone which is carved and fitted on to these brass frames. When illuminated, the alabaster chandelier can create a nice ambient lighting for any living room or dining space. Most alabaster fixtures use medium base light bulbs anywhere from 25Watts to 40W or even a 60W incandescent bulbs. In early 90’s, alabaster chandeliers were in great demand and many of them were being imported from Spain, Italy and Turkey because these are the countries where the high quality alabaster stones were carved out of the mountains. Manufacturers applied all types of different finishes on these chandelier frames including gold, silver, white, polished brass and bronze. Lighting Paradise carries a great selection of alabaster fixtures, alabaster pendants, wall sconces and alabaster ceiling lights.
Antique alabaster chandelier can be placed in hotel Lobby, banquet hall or club house area to accentuate the space and offer a soft ambience. Most hotels and club houses also install alabaster wall sconces to compliment the center piece fixture. Depending on the ceiling height and the width of the hallways, small alabaster pendants or flush mount fixtures can be installed. Other available finishes: Antique alabaster, silver metal, polished brass, black patina, white patina and few other custom color options.
